  • The steps are remnants of the pass's historical significance as a trade route.As you ascend, you will come across rock-cut caves and ancient Brahmi inscriptions. The caves were used as shelters by traders and travelers in ancient times. The inscriptions provide a glimpse into the history and culture of the Satavahana period.Throughout the trek, you are treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, hills, and the Konkan plains.
  •  The higher you climb, the more expansive the views become, offering excellent photo opportunities.The summit of the trek is the Naneghat Pass, a natural rock formation that once served as a toll collection point. The pass offers panoramic views of the Deccan plateau on one side and the Konkan plains on the other.
  •  These ancient caves, located near the summit, are a highlight of the trek. The caves feature intricate carvings and inscriptions, providing valuable insights into the history of the region. The main cave has a large cistern, which collects water throughout the year.
  •  Near the caves, you can find the remains of the ancient toll post where traders would pay their toll in the form of coins. This historical site adds a tangible connection to the past. No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
  • For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard-earned money.
